FlixBusFlixBus GmbH was founded in 2011 in Munich and has become one of the biggest coach companies in Germany. Currently, its buses serve 3277 cities in Germany and its neighbouring countries. In total you can find 614034 connections in the FlixBus timetables. Its network extends from Lisbon to Bucharest and from southern Sicily to northern Scandinavia. FlixBus is represented by local subsidiaries, including FlixBus Italia, FlixBus France and FlixBus Nordics, and consequently has over 1,200 destinations in over 20 countries in Europe.
The merger of FlixBus and MeinFernbus: On 7 January 2015 the two coach companies FlixBus and MeinFernbus merged into a joint venture. Tickets booked for one of the respective bus operators remain valid without restrictions. In 2018, FlixBus opened its first overseas connections in the United States.

Arrived at the bus stop 20 minutes early waited for 1 hour, no bus, no communication. I had to go to the bus station and buy a new ticket for an alternative company. Email 2 hours and 15 minutes after the bus was scheduled to depart to say the bus has been cancelled. Absolutely ridiculous!

He then continued to pull over at a service station that was not mentioned on the ticket, only to then not give a set departure time making us late. It was a terrible mistake to book with FlixBus. Would NOT reccomend.

Avoid this company. I have had terrible experiences with late buses and missed connections. There is no notification by sms or email and zero customer services. Appalling.

She was left on a bus with charging p ... This company really needs to shut down. Appalling service! My friend was due to arrive at 2pm from London at Birmingham and took the service on Saturday 9th July. She was left on a bus with charging ports not working and an incompetent and racist driver. The first driver assured passengers the bus is going Birmingham and it did say it on the front of the Bus. Then the coach passed 2’oclock and the bus was no where near Birmingham, quite naturally this left passengers anxious especially those celebrating Eid and needing to be home with their families on time. At 3pm, a whole hour later the bus reaches Leicester leaving passengers confused but they were assured it’s going Birmingham. Then the driver changes and the second driver proceeds to pass to Stoke on Trent, arriving at 4.20pm and passengers begun to confront driver who made comments on the speaker referring to some passengers as “monkeys”and commenting on how kids “need to learn how to speak English”. This is shocking in this day and age. The driver was unreasonable, unwilling to cooperate or come to a solution and spoke rudely to passengers trying to figure out why they werent taken to Birmingham and drove past. He then proceeded to tell them he’s going Manchester and if they’re going Birmingham they need to get off and figure it out themself. The ordeal of those poor passengers, most of them had their phones dead and stranded in a city an hour away from their actual destination. My friend managed to book taxis with her remaining percentage (true saviour mode) for some passengers and booked one for herself to get to Birmingham costing £100s of pounds. She reached Birmingham a whole 4 hours later and not on the mode of transport she booked and put trust in to drop her off safely. This is ridiculous. She was offered no help on the phone, other than being told they have already received many complaints. She was left visibly upset and shaken by the whole ordeal. Refund all passengers!

They didn’t even offer a refund to me or the full coach of travellers even though they made us all later and miss crucial things. Do not travel with them, horrendous customer service too, avoid.

NOT ONLY THIS, WHEN FLIXBUS GET DELAYED FOR MORE THAN TWO HOURS AT THE ARRIVAL DESTINATION, THEY WILL STILL REFUSE TO REFUND YOU AND WILL MAKE EXCUSE THAT THERE WAS NOT 2 HOURS DELAY AT THE DEPARTURE POINT. ONE MORE THING, PLEASE DON'T USE PAYPAL FOR PAYING THIS COMPANY AS PAYPAL WILL REFUSE YOUR CLAIM NO MATTER HOW MUCH EVIDENCE YOU PROVIDE TO THEM. USE YOUR BANK CARD INSTEAD. AND LAST THING, IF YOU WANT YOUR JOURNEY TO BE RUINED COMPLETELY THEN GO WITH FLIXBUS AND ENJOY THE WORST JOURNEY OF YOUR LIFE.

The journey was punctual and we left London and arrived in Manchester on time. I was travelling to Manchester to look after my mum who had returned home after a hospital stay following a major operation. She was in a very vulnerable situation, and needed help for herself and for my elderly father. While I have no complaints about the driver or the assistant on the coach, I was upset that noone enforced the law that masks should be worn on the bus. Many of the passengers were circulating in the very warm coach with no protective mouth covering at all. I am sure that this resulted in my catching the covid virus - symptoms appeared three/four days later. I am a relatively young person and thank G-d had relatively light symptoms, although on my return to London when I received a positive test result, I was very inconvenienced by having to take four days off work. However the worst consequence was obviously the concern that I might have passed this illness on to my very vulnerable mother and elderly father. The results could have been too terrible to contemplate. When you run a public travel service you must insist on safety regulations being kept, especially in a warm unventilated environment. It is not only the lives of your passengers which are at risk, but the lives of all those with whom they come into contact on their arrival. Many thanks for your attention to this email.

Showed up an hour late, the toilet was blocked and overflowing for the 4hr journey, the bin was overflowing with sanitary products falling out, there was no toilet paper, the bathroom floor was covered in god knows what liquid, there were s*** stains smeared on the walls, the bathroom door didnt lock and there was no plug sockets as advertised. When we reached out to the company about this ordeal they couldn't care less, wouldn't book with them
